This piece was illustrated on top of up-cycled Edgar Allan Poe book pages from the poems “The Raven” and “The Black Cat”.

Inspired from the 2015 independent horror film, “The VVitch”, Black Phillip is the main antagonist of the film. Taking on the guise of a billy goat, Black Phillip is actually the assumed mortal form of Satan himself, who torments a Puritan Christian family.
